Altec power amps 1269 & 1270 compared to the 9440A

I planned to use two Altec 9440A power amps (looking for a second one) in an active system with an Altec 511B horn (GPA 902 driver) and an Acoustic Energy 15 Dipole woofer.

Now I have the possibility to buy either the 1269 Altec power amp or the 1270.

Any recommedation of any of these in a hifi home audio system. Any preference for either ? How will these compare to the Altec 9440A.

Both those amps rate an "OK" from me, which means no reason to seek them out. There are plenty of "OK" amps. Check out the 9444A, fairly cheap and plentiful, sound good. The 9444B is a different circuit.
